Monster Nails

I'm getting more into the Halloween spirit- with my nails. I took my jade green OPI polish (Hey, Get In Lime!) from the spring and revamped it with some black stitches to channel Frankenstein's monster.

............ After googling nail art ideas, this one popped out at me to recreate first............

Movie Pick: Tower of Terror

First came the Disney MGM ride, then came the movie. As far as I'm concerned, Disney had some of the best Halloween movies and shows when I was little. Whenever I think back on those times, I always remember how magical my world became when I got lost in a Disney movie. I'd play pretend with my friends for hours, reenacting things we saw.

One great spooky movie I'm featuring today is Tower of Terror. Starring Steve Guttenberg and Kirsten Dunst, it follows the uncle/niece pair through an adventure of helping some ghosts with unfinished business, and making friends along the way. An evil witch cast a spell on the child movie star, Sally Shine, but her spell backfired, leaving everyone in the elevator with Sally Shine half-zapped between this world and the next. They never got to the party at the top of the hotel in 1937... will they finally reach it 60 years later?

A Pottery Barn Halloween

There's finally a chill in the air! We opened up the house yesterday because it was finally cool enough to not need the A/C... now I feel like it's fall.

You've seen that I've already decorated for Halloween after seeing my birthday post, but there are still some things to be done as far as fall decorations go. Pottery Barn has some excellent inspiration photos online and in their catalog. With the right foundations, you can easily transition from Halloween to Fall.

A Spooky Birthday

As you know, my birthday was yesterday. I decided to return to my idea a couple years ago and do a Halloween themed dinner, but this year was bigger and better. I like to keep the Halloween spirit alive all month long leading up to the 31st, so my birthday was the perfect time to kick off the celebrations.
